While I was getting ready for work this am I heard something that I found very interesting on the news, there is a college professor at Towson University who has some interesting criminal charges. His name Leonard Munyakazi has appeared on an Interpol wanted list for crimes against humanity and genocide. He is accused of committing mass murder in his country of origin Rwanda in 1994. The faculty and student interviews didn’t show any major signs of surprise; as a matter of fact he has made several statements about the situation in Rwanda that raised an alarm, the college is very aware of the statements and didn’t seemed concerned until now. He is there in a program called Scholar Rescue Fund, an organization that gives temporary jobs at us colleges to threatened minds… whatever that means. Now due to allegations he won’t be teaching this semester due to the allegations and won’t return until the investigation is over. Professor Munyakazi professes his innocence and denies being involved, but says that this is punishment for speaking against the Rwandan governments accounts of the conflict. This is interesting I will be following this one because I am actually curious as to how this wok out. ALL COMMENTS WELCOME
